The thousands of glittering lights illuminating the ranch grounds, coupled with complimentary tours of the elaborately decorated Ewing Mansion, further set Southfork apart from other holiday event sites.

Catering Options

All meals for Southfork events are masterfully prepared on-site by our extensive in-house Food and Beverage staff. We offer an endless array of menu options, ranging from cost-effective to lavish, including buffet menus, served luncheons and dinners, and wonderful food stations menus. Whether you are planning a basic, no-nonsense company picnic or an elaborate VIP dinner, we can present you with a variety of menu options to make your event memorable AND meet your budget.

We take pride in customizing, and love to develop a particular menu for an event theme or concept. Ask us about some of our themed menus and proposals, in which we present special menu selections based upon theme, entertainment, decor, and other event components. Some of our favorites include "Waltz Across Texas," "Southfork Under the Stars," "Totally Texas Chic," and "A Dallas Production" and we have dozens more!

It is often assumed that because Southfork is a "ranch," the events we host are only those with a western theme and menu. Nothing could be further from the truth! Although we have a wonderful variety of western-inspired menus and wonderful western decor, the great majority of our events are of another theme entirely. Impressive served dinners, an array of themed buffet options, and a talented decor and floral staff ensures that we can create any event and menu you might envision.

Themes & Decor

Incredible possibilities await your event at Southfork Ranch. Because of the flexibility of our many ballrooms, we can create any theme and mood for your party. Because of our "western heritage," it is often assumed we host only western events or barbecue/steak dinners. While we love our "Texas roots" and western events, we regularly work with a wide variety of themes, menu options, and decor packages for an endless array of events. In fact, only about 15% of our events are western-themed, and the rest represent a variety of other themes entirely.

Enhanced lighting, custom florals, specialty linens, and unique decor create a Moroccan-themed dinner party in our Braddock Ballroom. Specialty linens and florals help transform the Legends Ballroom into an elegant garden-inspired backdrop for rehearsal dinners.

Southfork's floral and decor department can create any type of centerpiece imaginable, from Texas chic to breathtakingly elegant and everything in between! "East Meets West" at Southfork for an Asian-themed corporate meeting.

Personifying Southfork's ability to create any theme, this tropical-themed fundraiser was a huge success. A tropical menu and specialty entertainment further enhanced the evening's appeal.
Southfork is a popular choice for Fall festivals and corporate family events, and our decor department is adept at creating the perfect ambience for these gatherings.
