Your stay at Mammoth Cave Hotel and your visit to Mammoth Cave National Park, will be an experience you'll remember for a lifetime. Mammoth Cave Hotel provides comfortable year-round accommodations and convenient access to the historic entrance to the world famous Mammoth Cave and the Mammoth Cave National Park Visitor Center. Hotel accommodations are available Friday and Saturday nights only and during select Holidays.

Beginning on November 1, 2009, the operating hours at the front desk will be:

Monday - Thursday: 9:00am-5:00pm
Friday 9:00am through Sunday at 5:00pm

Heritage Trail Rooms

Relax in one of the Hotel's 42 Heritage Trail Rooms, where you can enjoy the scenic views of the National Park Heritage Trail from your balcony window. These comfortable guest rooms are adjacent to the historic entrance to Mammoth Cave, convenient for those touring Mammoth Cave.

The 20 Sunset Terrace Rooms are located in a picturesque setting at the forest's edge, not far from the Heritage Trail that leads to the Sunset Point Overlook. The Sunset Terrace rooms are a perfect location for family reunions!

The 10 Historic Hotel Cottages are nestled near the forest with close proximity to the campground. The cottages are comfortably furnished and are located a short walking distance from the Hotel.

Woodland Cottages

The 20 Woodland Cottages are situated in a grove of trees a short distance from the Hotel. These rustic cottages offer basic accommodations in one to four bedrooms and are a great location for retreats!

Mammoth Cave Tour tickets are purchased at the Visitor Center.

Checkout time for room guests is 12:00 noon.

Rates are based on single or double occupancy. Additional persons are $9.00 per person, per night for Heritage Trail and Sunset Terrace Rooms. Additional Person Charge for the Woodlands Cottages is $7.00 per person, per night. A deposit equal to one night's lodging plus 10% tax should accompany each reservation. Deposits will be refunded if cancellation is received 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival. Rates are subject to approval by the National Park Service and may change at any time without notice.
