Tours of Southfork
No visit to Dallas is complete without visiting the legendary Southfork Ranch. For thirteen years, television sets were tuned into 356 episodes of "Dallas", one of the longest running series in television history. Viewers made themselves home at Southfork, the ranch the Ewings called home and where the world was a weekly guest. Today, Southfork continues to welcome visitors from around the world, who come to see where "Dallas" was filmed and to experience the lifestyle made famous by the Ewings.
Whether you are an individual traveler or part of a group tour, Southfork is open daily, 'year round for guided tours of the ranch made famous by "Dallas". Tour the famed Ewing Mansion and re-live exciting moments from the series in the "Dallas Legends" exhibit, featuring an exciting array of memorabilia from the series. See the gun that shot J.R., Lucy's Wedding Dress, the "Dallas" Family Tree, and Jock's Lincoln Continental. Relax on a guided tour of the ranch grounds. Eat at Miss Ellie's Deli and shop in two themed retail stores, offering a diverse selection of clothing, accessories, gifts, and collectibles.

Re-live some of the memorable moments from "Dallas" in the "Dallas Legends" Exhibit. See the gun that shot J.R., Lucy's wedding dress, video clips from the series, interviews with the stars, and other memorabilia that will make you feel right at home with the most infamous Texans of them all, the Ewings.
Take a tram from the Visitors Center en route to the Ewing Mansion. You'll hear a history of the ranch, and see Texas longhorns and American quarter horses.
The famed Ewing Mansion. A tour guide will give interesting tidbits about the years of filming and insight into the character of the Ewings. Guests are given a full guided tour of the "most famous White House west of D.C." Yes, even J.R.'s bedroom!
As you depart the Mansion, feel free to stroll through the ranch grounds, and stop and visit "Lincoln's and Longhorns," displaying Jock Ewing's original 1978 Lincoln Continental. Guests can shop here for "Dallas"-inspired men's and ladies apparel, decor, and accessories.
Chuckwagon Dinners
Experience the best of the Old West and the New Texas, all in the heart of the world's most famous ranch! Guests will begin their evening in the "Dallas Legends" Exhibit, showcasing highlights from the "Dallas" series, including interviews with the stars, clips from memorable episodes, and the gun that shot J.R. Tours of the famed Ewing Mansion and surrounding ranch will also be included in the evening's activities, providing guests the ability to experience first-hand the images made famous on their television screens.
After boarding Southfork's Texas Tram, they are then transported to their "dinner camp," complete with an authentic chuckwagon from the Old West. Singing cowboys will entertain with campfire songs and ranch hands will tell western stories and recite cowboy poetry during dinner. The combination of Old West and New Texas makes the Chuckwagon Dinner Program at Southfork a truly unique experience!
