The simple 50's era decor of Bluffs Restaurant adds to the charm of the place and the country ham is delicious. Definitely a must see along the Parkway!

Crabtree Meadows

Crabtree Falls

From May to October, you could call this "Nature's Flower Garden" with colorful plant life that's second to none. The 250-acre site is a cool and peaceful recreation area offering camping, picnicking, nature walks, Crabtree Meadows Gift Shop and the premier attraction - Crabtree Falls. Big Crabtree Creek's 70-foot cascade falls over a rock cliff and is rare in that it does not have a basin or plunge pool at the base. These beautiful falls are located approximately 1 mile from the campground entrance.

Snugly set amidst views of the Black Mountains, you'll enjoy your stop at Crabtree Meadows. The Snack Bar features freshly made sandwiches, salads and soups to compliment your picnic at the nearby Crabtree campgrounds.

Snack Bar & Gift Shop along the Blue Ridge Parkway
