Rocky Knob Cabins

The cabins are located two miles north of Mabry Mill, one of the Parkway's most photographed Grist Mills and the Mabry Mill Restaurant & Gift Shop. Turn right at MP 174, go one mile. Spend one night or several nights at these historic, rustic cabins built in the 1930's by the CCC - the Civilian Conservation Corp. Located in a beautiful mountain cove, the Rock Castle Gorge hiking trail is within minutes of the cabins.

These housekeeping cabins are equipped with two double beds, small kitchen, electric lights and outlets, two-burner stovetop or hotplate (no oven), coffeemaker, refrigerator, sinks with cold-running water, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, dish detergent, kitchen linens, bed linens, pillows, comforters, extra blankets, electric heaters and window fans. Towel sets provided for each guest.

The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Cabin is wheelchair accessible and has one double bed, small kitchen and its own private bathroom with sit-down shower. The other six cabins share clean, centrally located bathhouses within easy walking distance of the cabins.

1-2 Guests: $65.00 each night

Extended Stay Discount: 1-2 Guests, two or more nights - Sunday through Thursday, $55 each night

Holidays, October and November 1: $69.00 each night (no discounts available)

Additional Guests: $8.00 each guest, each night

Roll-a-way Bed: $8.00 each night

Pet Fee: $10.00 each pet, each night

Children 12 and under are free

An advance deposit equal to one night's lodging plus tax is required to confirm a reservation. Cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance of scheduled arrival date to receive a full refund of advance deposit. Rates subject to change wtih prior approval of the National Park Service.
