Q: With the lake level down is the lake safe?
A: Yes, the lake is as safe as ever. As with any lake, there are inherent dangers.
Q: Are there open beaches with vehicle access?
A: Yes, and many more by boat.
Q: What is there to do at Lake Meredith?
A: Great fishing, boat rentals, museums, camping, swimming, skiing.
Q: Where are the best camping sites?
A: Chimney Hollow, Harbor Bay, Sanford Yake and Cedar Canyon. There is no charge for camping.
Q: Can we have campfires?
A: Yes, however being in a semi-desert environment there are sometimes a "burn ban" in effect. Notices are posted at the Park entrances. Propane fires are always allowed.
Q: Is there a restaurant on the lake?
A: No, but there are fine eateries in the nearby towns. We have hot dogs, nachos, popcorn pre-prepared sandwiches, chips and your favorite beverages.
Q: Are cabins available?
A: No, but motels are available in Fritch and Borger as well as Amarillo.
Q: Are there showers available?
A: No.
Q: Are there RV sites?
A: Yes, but there are no hook-ups. Long range plans do include the possibility.
Q: What is at the marina?
A: Convenience Store: food and beverages, clothing, sunglasses, jewelry, health and beauty aids, tobacco, gas dock, boat rentals, heated and cooled fish house, bait and tackle, certified scales, slips rentals, a new patio to enjoy your food and beverage on the water.
Q: What environmental awards or recognitions has Marina at Lake Meredith received?
A: Marina at Lake Meredith became a member of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National Environmental Performance Track Program in September 2005.

In 2003, Marina at Lake Meredith was certified to ISO 14001. Forever Resorts is the first U.S. multi-site hospitality, lodging and marina provider to be certified to ISO 14001:1996 for all its domestic operations. ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
