Ray Roberts Lake State Park is situated along the shores of a 30,000-acre reservoir with plenty of recreational activities for those who enjoy the outdoors.

Along with the 20 mile Ray Roberts Lake, there are two state parks, six satellite parks, Wildlife Management Areas, wetlands and waterfowl sanctuaries. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy birdwatching, water sports, horse back riding and scenic backpacking. Ray Roberts Lake offers plenty of activities for everyone.

Construction will begin in the fall of 2009 for the new marina. The marina will be completed in the spring of 2010.

Directions from DFW Airport:
Out of DFW Airport take Hwy 121 North to Lewisville. At 135E, take a left (north) and exit onto 135E to Denton. Drive through Denton. Nine miles north of Denton is the town of Sanger. Take Exit 478, Pilot Point Exit, which is FM 455. Turn right on FM 455 and go east approximately 14 miles (this road goes over the Lake Ray Roberts Dam and the lake is on your left). FM 455 ends at State Hwy 377. Turn left (north) to the town of Pilot Point (approximately 1 mile). Just north of this intersection is the City of Pilot Point and there will be a road to the left called "Truck Route, Hwy 377" and also called "Business Loop 377" (Old Exxon gas station and Hampton's Inspection Station are across the street). At this intersection you will see a brown "TPWD sign that says "Jordan Park, Left". Turn left. This will take you directly into downtown Pilot Point. One block past the Town Square you will come to FM 1192. There will be another brown TPWD sign that says "Jordan Park, Left". Turn left on FM 1192. Travel approximately 4 miles "back to the Lake". The entrance to Lantana Lodge is right on this road and will be hard to miss. We look forward to your visit.

Directions from Downtown Dallas at I30 and I35E:
From I30 go into downtown Dallas to the interchange of I35E and go north to Denton. Stay on I35 North and go through Denton. Drive through Denton. Nine miles north of Denton is the town of Sanger. Take Exit 478, Pilot Point Exit, which is FM 455. Turn right on FM 455 and go east approximately 14 miles (this road goes over the Lake Ray Roberts Dam and the lake is on your left). Take I-75 North to "Denton, Greenville, 380" exit in Mc Kinney. Turn left at the stop light. Follow 380 West to Hwy 377, enter ramp, going North on 377. Follow 377 through Krugerville and Aubrey. The City of Pilot Point is approximately 1 mile north of the intersection of State Hwy 377 and FM 455 West.
